HAKEL testing room - price list and range of services

The Hakel company has its own testing room focused on testing of surge arresters and insulation monitoring devices.

Equipment of the testing room

Our testing laboratory is equipped with:

• 8/20 µs surge generators with adjustable current up to 150 kA.
• 10/350 µs surge generators with adjustable current up to 160 kA.
• A combination wave generator capable of 1.2/50 µs surge with voltage up to 20 kV in an open-circuit and an 8/20 µs surge with current up to 10 kA in a short-circuit.
• Rohde & Schwarz ZVB-8 vector analyser for measuring the frequency characteristics of transmission in the frequency range from 150 kHz to 8 GHz.
• UCS 500N5 tester with a capacitive clamp. A multifunctional test generator of transients (EFT/BURST – burst of impulses up to 5.5 kV, SURGE – surge 1.2/50 µs up to 5 kV, POWER FAIL – simulation of power failure).
• GW INSTEK electrical safety tester, insulation test by voltage 0.1 ÷ 5 kV AC or 0.1 ÷ 6 kV DC.
• Measurements can be supplemented with recordings from the FLIR E53 thermal camera.

Price list

The price for workplace preparation (sample and tool preparation, etc.) is 30 €/hour

The price for each commenced hour of testing on generator is depending on the type of surge and peak value of the applied impulse, including technician(s) work:
